Services

Whether you are seeking “more game” in your current position, searching for your next role, or increasing your professionalism, Dr. Angie Taylor can help ensure you are creating a career roadmap that will provide meaningful work for your future.

Seeking a New Position

No matter how you have arrived at the point in your career where you are seeking a new position, you need to think about creating a career roadmap that will guide you to your next place of employment and beyond. By first evaluating your skills and talents, we create the beginning of the career map and then move forward toward job openings that require your expertise. Preparing your job search documents – portfolio, cover letter, core skills chart, and resume is step one. We then move to labor market analysis and informational interviews. Attending employment support groups and making thoughtful inquiries to those who can support your search is vital to your success. Lastly, preparing for interviews and successfully making connections with employers helps you decide where and how you want to share your expertise and talent.

Increasing Your Professionalism

Do you ever feel like people don’t respect you?  Are you asked to be a leader?  Do you make responsible and viable contributions in meetings?  Do you ever feel like your input doesn’t matter?  Increasing your professionalism in the workplace takes serious planning and execution.  Together, we can analyze what is working for you and what is not.  We can make sure people recognize your contributions by creating a plan of action that helps you perform as a key player in your workplace.

New Services:

Dr. Taylor is interested in working with new clients who are beginning their college academic work or who are preparing for graduation from college.  If you are applying, enrolling, registering or transitioning into your college experience and would like support throughout those processes, Dr. Taylor is interested in meeting with you.  Further, if you are preparing for graduation and would like to work on your employment and career pathway, please contact Dr. Taylor.

Seeking “More Game” in your current position

Are you working for a company you respect? Do you plan to be with them for a few more years or longer? Do you wish they would include you in more decision-making? Have you earned a raise, but haven’t received it? These are all questions of merit and if your answers are mostly yes, then it is time to dig in and plan to make these changes happen. Often, it is a case of planning your work and working your plan. Being recognized for your good work and receiving a promotion, raise or just more responsibility takes risk, but it often comes with rewards. In the end, it is meaningful work that matters. At the end of the day you want to feel like you made a difference and you count.
