Leading Effective Meetings
This topic focuses on how to lead effective meetings. As a facilitator it is our responsibility to keep the meeting flowing, make sure people are caring for their deliverables, and guide the future work of the group. Those participating in meetings trust the facilitator to provide reasonable structure for the meetings and keep everyone focused on the meeting details. This training teaches facilitators to be stellar in this leadership role.
Creating a Network Map and Meeting with Your Advocates
This training is designed to help you create a network map of people who will be helping you acquire new employment or move up in your current company. The network map is a strategic piece of your professional life and once created, you will be meeting with your advocates and asking for their assistance in moving forward on your career pathway. We will identify three categories of people: your most trusted advisors, your strongest advocates, and those people you need to meet who could be instrumental in your job search. Once we have these people identified, we will discuss how to use your network map to create a network of support for your future and/or current work.
Conducting a Core Skills Analysis and Creating a Core Skills Chart
This training teaches you the strategy for conducting your own core skills analysis and how to delve into your previous skill development and work experience to determine the best skills you are bringing to the table for new and continued employment. Once we determine your best core skills, we will work on your core skills chart and how to create a document that stands out to employers and conveys the best core skills you are using to create your financial security.
